You know what's really weird is how the word 'weird' is being thrown around during this election.
And what's really soo weird is that as much money as the Trump Team invests in this election and as hard as Trump Team works to re-elect former President Trump...Kamala Harris is hardly breaking a sweat...no interviews, no press conferences, not saying much about her policies and yet is pulling away in the race for the White House...showing her ahead in the polls in many critical swing states...now that is weird!
Some are saying that women voters are really behind Harris' election while men are sticking with Trump. So women are planning on holding off 'whoopee' from their hubbies until they get on board with Harris. No-brainer...within weeks Harris will be ahead by double digits...now that's weird politics!

The boy who has cried wolf - for nearly 140 years!

present world conditions match what the bible foretold.

Talking about an Ole boy crying wolf...again!
As recent as March 2020 GB Stephen Lett is on video saying:
"The events unfolding around us are making clearer than ever that we're living in the final part of the last days...undoubtedly the final part of the final part of the last days...shortly before the last day of the last days."

The org's "new lights" - corrupting Proverbs 4:18
by BoogerMan inproverbs 4:18 says, "but the path of the righteous....grows brighter and brighter until full daylight.".
the bible "light" doesn't get brighter - it never changes - it's a person's direction & course of life which gets brighter.. w11 9/15 p. 14 par.
15 - "when spiritual light on some matter gets brighter, do you try to understand the underlying scriptural reasons for the adjustment?

It's quite likely that WT elite have already started distancing themselves from Proverbs 4:18.
Proverbs 4:18 has been WT's get out of jail pass for decades and decades for the tons of times they've gotten Biblical understanding wrong. The last mention that I can remember of WT's mention of Proverbs 4:18 was GB Jeffrey Winder's 1st talk of the 2023 Annual Meeting (entitled: "How The GB Arrive At New Light"). Since then with the high volume of changes that have taken place, I don't think WT has publicly made reference to Proverbs 4:18 as their usual go-to scripture. The August 2024 Watchtower Study magazine with it's many new doctrinal adjustments & changes makes no reference throughout the entire magazine to Proverbs 4:18.
They no doubt have gotten an earful over the years from Bible experts & intellectuals of how soo badly they've miss-applied the Proverb "New Light" scripture that the GB is ready to throw-in the towel & quit in defeat regarding this much coveted scripture.
So...me wonders if one day soon WT will be announcing to the rank and file why it's no longer proper to refer to Proverbs 4:18 when the need arises to explain and give a reason for a WT Governing Body doctrinal change, adjustment and/or refinement to Scriptural beliefs. -

I wonder what it's costing WT to appeal this case...is a WT flunky lawyer involved or did WT source out the appeal proceedings to a pricy appeal specialist attorney? Either way it's going to cost WT & JWs in more ways than one. According to Justice Cooke the proceedings are for sure going to result in unwanted notoriety to the cult organization:
"Publicising the section of the report dealing with the issue of abuse by members of the Jehovah's Witnesses faith will likely have a reputational impact on the appellant, and the faith more generally."Thank you Barbara and Joe for the link.

Mass formation control and the Organization

most of the changes in the organization have been doctrinal and as a rule jws would not openly discuss these for fear of being labeled an apostate.
examples include overlapping generations and types and antitypes.

There's was a discussion about a year ago about the outside law firm (name ??) WT hired to defend JW Elders brought up on CSA charges throughout the State of Pennsylvania. To my recollection the law form & WT negotiated an hourly rate just shy of $500.00 an hour plus perdiem costs. If I'm not mistaken that law firm is still on WT's payroll. I wouldn't necessarily call that rate minimum wage!
And this Pennsylvania Attorney outsourcing by WT is one of a ton of times WT utilizes outside pricey law firms to minimize it's guilty dollar amount settlements!
Oh & BTW the above estimated $500/hr rate was at volume discount because of the large number of JW Pennsylvania elders who are being investigated and/or brought up on CSA charges!

The in-house crew more-or-less works for free.
Many times free labor comes with a very huge liability. Take WT's lead attorney Philip Brumley. This dude was penalized a hefty $154,400.00 for deceiving a Montana CSA court case. WT appealed...guess what? The higher court told WT to pay the damn fine!
Even free labor comes at a high cost!
I'm told Philip Brumley is being sent back to law school. Apparently Phil skipped out on the law school section entitled: 'Penalties For Lying & Deceiving In Court Proceedings!'

ThomasMore: They have a huge legal department and it still isn't enough to field all the challenges.
Question: What must it cost WT to maintain a huge in-house legal department? Add to this burden...what must it cost WT to maintain outside expert legal lawyers/consultants & expert appellate attorneys? Damn!

I've been around the block with this cult for decades & decades. I remember the 1975 fiasco/disaster well.
I remember the May 22nd 1969 Awake (What Future For Young Ones) foretelling that young ones don't need higher education b/c they wouldn't grow old in this system of things.
I remember service meeting parts in 1981 where elder bodies were instructing entire congregations to literally trash Raymond Franz's blue book (Aid To Bible Understanding) after he'd been removed as GB member & disfellowshipped.
I remember in the 60s, 70s, 80s & continuing to 2019 when JWs viewed themselves as the Locusts of Joel chapter 2. Then at 2019 Annual Meeting GB conehead David Splane corrected the understanding saying that the Locusts of Joel chapter 2 were not JWs after all...rather the Locusts are actually enemies of God.I remember in the 80s cover-ups by WT Headquarters & body of elders of pedophiles in the congregations.
Over the years I've known of way too many suicides, murder suicides as well as plane Ole JW murders. Just recently a JW murders his JW parents including family pet in a community on West Coast called San Juan Capistrano, California.
Over the years I know of way too much wrongdoing, contradictions & discrepancies by this cult...seriously!
Today I'm approaching my 80s & have been celebrating freedom for the last 20 years...Yay!
